Whenever you travel to Africa or tropical lands, you can minimize the risk of contracting malaria, yellow fever, and dengue using yam or tarro root. You can use yam oil on your skin (mixed with other oils or skin lotions) or just eat yams regularly while you’re in high-risk regions. Native people of these tropical regions have been using yams this way for centuries and it works.
